A rendition of classic embroidery in “zanjiri” and kora dabka work of the mid 40’s, using the line work and motif shapes of antique tones in the embroidery. The blood-red silk shirt is paired with a dupatta in a light ethereal organza fabric, which is filled with jaal in soft gold tones with an intricate border all around.
The gold tissue lehnga has different farbics used in the kalis (panels) so that it old school charm is carried throughout. The lehnga has a maroon velvet border which is placed all over the shirt and the dupatta.
